Keanu Reeves

His mother, Patricia, is English (from Essex), and is a "costume designer and performer" (according to Wikipedia). She was working in Beirut (I've been unable to establish exactly what she was doing there) when she met Samuel Nowlin Reeves Jr. – who is from Hawaii, and is of Native Hawaiian, Chinese, English, Irish and Portuguese descent. Keanu Reeves was born in Beirut in 1964; his father left when he was three years old. The family moved to Sydney, and then to New York, where Patricia married Paul Aaron in 1970. They moved to Toronto, but Patricia and Paul divorced in 1971.

Keanu Reeves has Canadian citizenship. His breakthrough film role was in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989); the sequel, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, was produced by Paul Aaron.

Keanu Reeves is described by Collider (an entertainment fan site) as "one of the most likeable movie stars to ever exist."
